Woxof will let you use our tackle, just pay for what you loose.

Halibut:

Bannana weight (8 to 12oz.) 15/0 Circle hooks.

Lead head jigs (8 to 12oz.) 15/0 J hook with split tail scampi or grub ( 9 1/2") Green, White, Glow, or Root beer.

Jigs also work: Shimano Butterfly Jigs w/ stinger hooks. A (8 to 12oz.) Metal jig w/ a short leader attached to the top eye. Use a 8/o circle hook on the on the short leader and a 12/o circle hook on the bottom. Silver, Brass, or Gold with green or yellow work well.

Rock fish:

Bannana weight (8 to 12oz.) 12/0 to 15/0 Circle hooks.

Lead head jigs (2 to 12oz.) 12/0 J hook with split tail scampi or grub ( 6' to 9 1/2") Green, White, Glow, or Root beer.

King Salmon: Trolling 11 1/2" Flasher Green, Blue, Yellow or Silver. 28" leader with two hooks 4/0 or 5/0 tie with a non sliding bumper tie. Hoochies if used should be white, blue, or green. and herring either plug cut or whole, red or green size work the best.

Mooching: 6 to 8oz bannana weight with 3' leader and bumper tied two hook 4/0 or 5/0 slight offset j hooks. Cut plug herring works well.

Coho Salmon: Trolling: 11 1/2" flashers. 30" leader with two 4/0 j hooks in a bumper tie. Blue, green, purple, yellow or black work the best.

Casting: 1 to 2 oz crockadiles, castmasters work well.

Pink Salmon Trolling: Same as for Coho but put something with some red or pink in the mix.

Casting: same as for Coho but red on the lure fires them up.

The bottom in this great fishing area is often sticky. It is normal to loose a half dozen jigs a day. We also hook huge fish which can also be cause for lost gear. We have made available hooks and weights, Jigs and plastic, Lures that you are welcome to use. You just pay for what you loose. You are welcome to bring your own, its up to you.
